Junkyard
Nick was needing a new speedometer cable for his bike so we planned a trip to 50 Highway Cycle. I had never been there and didn't expect it to be a self-pull junkyard. It is, and that's alright! Every phase of motorcycling is present, from nearly complete Honda Dreams to completely bastardized Japanese choppers to skeletons of sport bikes.
I had a brief conversation regarding the care and downfall of motorcycles with one of the other patrons. We were pondering the steps that had to be taken for a bike to end up in the state that it's just laying in a pile rotting away. I'm assuming it starts with "just needs a battery" or " needs carb work."
I'm not sure what bike this is, but it's sure purple:
