Ramblings From Justin Penney

Last year we purchased a pretty basic charcoal grill. We cooked out a few times, but I quickly grew tire of the time and effort involved. i liked being outside and cooking, but I hated the heat up time and all of the in & out traffic. This weekend we remedied the heat up time by purchasing a new gas grill!

We skipped the stainless grills and bought a functionally equivalent, same BTU and size, model in black. It was together in less than an hour with grilled portabella mushrooms and diced potatoes quickly following.

Lily wanted to grill again tonight so we stopped at the store for grilling items. I had decided that I was going to make cheese burgers, beef for Lily and I and Boca for Jacey. While I was comparing the frozen patties Lily asked, "Where are the ham ones? These are all beef." I informed her that hamburgers are ground beef and asked her if she like hamburgers. She does enjoy hamburgers, but not the beef ones just the ham ones. I informed her that of the hundreds of hamburgers that she has consumed not a single one had any ham ... just beef.

She ate a veggie burger.
