Boulevard recently released a set of craft beers called the Somkestack Series. These brews come in corked champagne style bottles.

Last night I popped open a bottle of the Long Strange Tripel.The color is a nutty brown. The carbonation is pretty fine with small fizzy bubbles that fell good on the tongue. The taste is really complex and on the sweet side. It bears some resemblance to Paulaner Salvator. There is a lot of flavor, so much that I have not had more than one glass at a sitting.

I am now really excited to try the rest of the beers in this series. I think that I am going to try the Double Wide IPA next.
