Storm things.
We missed most of the storms yesterday but at around 9:00 p.m. got blasted with hail. It was coming in multiple directions and some were around golf ball sized. I haven't done a very good inventory of the vehicles yet but Jacey said the Hyundai got hit pretty good.
When we were watching TV after that the newscasters kept apologizing for interrupting the normal programming. "I know people are frustrated." they said. Well F those guys. People died from that stuff and it's entirely reasonable to use the public airwaves to keep the public safe. I know you missed some "Dance with Surviving American Brother Deal Makers" thing but I think it's worth it to get some people out the way of the storms.
A few years ago when the whole "microburst" thing happened everyone was up in arms that the news didn't break in and warn them. Obviously they are a little jumpy on the interrupt trigger now but cut them some slack, this is one time that an err on the side of caution is warranted.
There were 110 tornadoes this weekend. That's some interruptin newswrthy stuff right there!
