Ramblings From Justin Penney

So I'll just list some happenings briefly.

Ryan and Tiffany got married. It was awesome. We worked on the music for a while and it was a big surprise to Tiffany. Since the people playing live in a few different locations we didn't get to play as a whole band until the actual wedding. All of the gifts exchanged were alcohol related. I got Ryan a fifth of Booker's. Nick got Ryan a fifth of Wild Turkey Special Reserve. Ryan got me a beer brewing kit. Ryan got Nick a flask full of 8 year Tyrconnell. Ryan got Shane a flask full of Maker's Mark. Says alot about our friendship. The reception was a good time. John Corn drank like 5 bottles of wine and skinny dipped in the pond. Jon Stubblefield had to be damn near drug out of the hot tub as a lightning storm started. He was fully prepared to fry himself that night.

Lily turned 6!!! We had a nice party here at the house with lots of little kids every where. There were 10 6 year old girls that stayed the night. It was surprisingly not that bad. I didn't realise how early in life girls got into cliques. Man... this is going to be an interesting neighborhood in 6 years!

Jacey and I have been mountain biking still. We've gone to Landahl a couple times and Blue River Park once. It's been raining so much that it's muddy and the trails would just get torn up if you rode them. I converted my bike to single speed.

Stubblefield... errr... the Bad Ideas... started recording tonight. We got some sounds going and started trying to lay down some bed tracks. We're hopefully going to hit it hard on Saturday.
