Ramblings From Justin Penney

When we moved in we knew that we would need a new water heater soon. The one that was here already was as old as the house and was severly compromised by the buildup of mineral deposits in the tank. The hot water never lasted long but it wasn't bad enough to really worry about. After Becci moved in and there were three girls getting ready int he morning I never got a hot shower. Still, it wasn't enough to make me want to replace it.

Friday Becci woke us up letting us know that there was no hot water. The water heater is dead. The pilot won't even light anymore. I hadn't taken a shower thursday, Lily had pictures on that day and dishes were piling up.

Saturday morning, way too early considering I got home from a party a Kay's at like 3:00 a.m. I went and bought a new water heater and had it installed. I have never in my life been so ecstatic to take a shower. I felt so gross and that was the first hot shower I'd had in a while.
