Ramblings From Justin Penney

The stories about people getting mad about holiday decorations are starting to go around. I just read one where a person working at a school go a complaint about her personal little christmas decoration on her desk.

I am 100% behind the premise of the separation of church and state in that I don't support the church running the state or the state running the church. I think "blue" laws are stupid. Beer isn't any worse for you on Sunday than it was on Saturday! This kind of stuff is NOT MANDATED. It's a person expressing their beliefs, feelings, love of rampant consumerism and so on and is EXACTLY what I would want to see happening in America. I want to walk through an office building and see Santa, dreidels, Buddah statutes, pictures of Krsna, pictures of Vishnu, or pictures of hot chicks. I want to see millions of people all doing their own thing along with everyone else.
