Ramblings From Justin Penney

This Tuesday is my wedding anniversary so my wife and I spent this weekend together. We also exchanged presents... which actually means that I took her shopping and she took me shopping. I bought her the queen sized bed she'd been wanting for our bedroom and she took me to Heartland Guitar to let me buy a bass.

They had a 1999 Fender Deluxe P-Bass Special there for a good price so I bought it. It's been months since I had a full sized bass around and this one is awesome.

Now the floor. We had rippedup the carpet in part of the studio a couple months ago. We finally decided to paint the floor instead of hardwood (not good for basements) or carpet. We went today and bought concrete floor paint and gave it a nice thick coat of platinum grey. It looks great and it's not even done, the transitions to the carpetted areas are goign to have a chrome reducer on them. I think it will look really cool when it's done.
